The mission of SHIFT GNG is to mobilize families, youth, and all sectors of the community to prevent substance use among youth. We seek to promote and model shared norms, policies and practices that foster positive youth development and a healthy community environment.
NEXT MEETING Please join us for our next Coalition meeting on Monday, January 9th, from 4:00 to 5:45
Location: Dunn School Library, 667 Morse Road, New Gloucester.
Anyone with an interest in working together to reduce youth substance use is welcome!
September 2011 The GNG Coalition has chosen to change our name to SHIFT GNG (Supporting Healthy Influences For our Towns). We're in the process of creating a logo and separate website for the coalition, and we hope that you'll follow us there later this fall! Stay tuned for details.
In addition, SHIFT has recently joined the world of Facebook! Like us for news, tips, events, and regular updates on the coalition's work.
Tip of the Month
Each month, the Gray-New Gloucester Coalition publishes a Tip of the Month -- simple tips to help parents and community members prevent underage drinking and other substance use. If you'd like to receive our Tip of the Month automatically, email skinsler@mcd.org. Check out our past Tips, archived below!
